President of Finland Alexander Stubb to Visit Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the invitation of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan from 29 October to 1 November, the press service of the Uzbek President announced.

The visit program includes high-level talks in Tashkent, during which both sides will discuss a wide range of issues aimed at further expanding Uzbek-Finnish cooperation. Particular attention will be given to strengthening partnerships in political, trade and economic, investment, and cultural and humanitarian spheres.

A special focus will be placed on increasing bilateral trade and developing cooperation in sectors such as agriculture, environmental protection, chemical and energy industries, digitalization, extractive industries, and other innovative fields.

The agenda also includes discussions on labor migration, cultural exchange, and the integration of modern technologies into the education system.

Additionally, the two presidents are expected to exchange views on pressing international and regional issues, including enhancing mutual support in multilateral platforms.
