Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 4 March, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held a meeting with the CEO of Russia’s Tatneft, Nail Maganov, Chairman of Kazakhstan’s KazMunayGas, Askhat Khasenov, and Chairman of Uzbekistan’s Uzbekneftegaz, Bahodirjon Sidikov.

President Aliyev emphasized that a new phase of multilateral cooperation has begun, highlighting the successful groundwork that has been laid. He noted the close production ties already established between the oil companies of Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan, pointing to ongoing bilateral projects and stressing the importance of uniting efforts in this sector.

The Azerbaijani leader particularly underscored the significance of four-party collaboration in joint production and the fulfillment of orders for friendly nations.

During the talks, participants discussed prospects for this new cooperation format, expressing confidence in its further development and the strengthening of economic ties among the countries.

The parties also reaffirmed their commitment to working together in emergency response, establishing joint operational teams, enhancing digital technologies and software solutions, optimizing procurement processes, and supporting various industrial sectors.

Additionally, it was noted that this cooperation framework remains open for other international companies to join.
