The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov welcomed the Afghan leader at Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov.

After a short conversation, the delegation of Afghanistan left for the residence allocated for them.

As previously reported, on 27 March, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Mohammad Ashraf Ghani will take part and deliver speeches at the International Conference on Afghanistan “Peace process, security cooperation and regional collaboration”.

The program of the visit also includes bilateral negotiations between the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani.
