President Mirziyoyev Visits “Agromarkaz” Agrocenter in Jizzakh Region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During his visit to Jizzakh Region, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev toured the “Agromarkaz” agricultural enterprise complex in Sharaf Rashidov District.

Agricultural development in the country is receiving systematic support, contributing to higher crop yields and expanding opportunities for farmers and dehkans. Agrocenters providing comprehensive services are being established in various regions, and a similar center has now started operating in Sharaf Rashidov District.

“Agromarkaz” offers a full range of services for agricultural producers, including laboratory research on plant protection, veterinary care, agronomist consultations, supply of seeds and seedlings, greenhouse construction, and sales and maintenance of mini-farm equipment. All services are organized under a “single-window” principle.

On the center’s one-hectare site, the first floor houses an agro-market, stores for plant protection products and seeds, a veterinary pharmacy, rooms for mobile teams, and other service offices.

The plant protection laboratory is located on the second floor and includes soil and water analysis facilities, as well as specialized entomology and phytopathology laboratories.

The complex also hosts the regional agricultural department, branches of the Agency for Agro-Industrial Development, the agro-inspection office, a seed production center, the Karakul Breeders Association, and other organizations providing support to the agricultural sector.

The President reviewed the agrocenter’s operations and provided recommendations for expanding its activities, increasing the range of services offered, and creating additional value in the region’s agricultural sector.
