President Mirziyoyev Undertakes Personnel Changes in Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has implemented a series of personnel changes within the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Ayubkhon Rakhmatullaev has been relieved of his duties as First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs — Head of the Operative-Search Department due to his transition to a new position.
Davron Nazarmukhamedov has been relieved of his duties as Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs — Head of the Department of Spiritual-Educational Work and Human Resources.
New leaders have been appointed to these positions. Botir Kudratkhodjayev assumed the role of First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs — Head of the Operative-Search Department; he previously served as Minister for Emergency Situations.
Rustam Djuraev has been appointed First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs — Head of the Department of Public Safety, being relieved of his duties as Commander of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Rustam Mirzaev was appointed Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs for Compliance and Internal Control in Anti-Corruption Efforts. In connection with this appointment, he was relieved of his post as Deputy Head of the Department of Communications at the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Diyorbek Sattorov has been appointed Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs — Head of the Department of Spiritual-Educational Work and Human Resources. He was previously Head of the Sector within the Department for Public Safety and Rule of Law at the Administration of the President.
Additionally, President Mirziyoyev appointed Azizkhon Umarkhanov as Head of the Department of Punishment Enforcement under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan. He previously served as Hokim of the Almazar District.
