President gets acquainted with renovated psychiatric clinic

Today, on 15 June, the head of state visited again and got acquainted with the work done.

Four new buildings were built on the territory of the clinic, the rest were reconstructed and repaired. Comfortable chambers, offices for individual work with patients were created and equipped with modern diagnostic equipment.

Work in this direction will be continued. The necessary conditions have been created, now we need a scientific approach, Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.

Instructions were given to turn the renovated clinic into a supporting institution for other hospitals in our country of this profile, to develop methods for the early warning and treatment of mental illnesses, to establish cooperation with foreign scientific and medical institutions, to train and support social psychiatrists.
