President-elect receives CIS Executive Secretary

President-elect of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the chairperson of Executive Committee – Executive Secretary of the CIS Sergey Lebedev on 5 December 2016.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed frank gratitude for huge work of the CIS observation mission and its assessment of election process and results of the elections of the President of Uzbekistan.
In his turn, Sergey Lebedev expressed gratitude to Uzbekistan for invitation to monitor presidential elections and creation of favourable conditions for observers from the CIS.
During the meeting, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Sergey Lebedev exchanged opinion on issues of further developing and strengthening of cooperation within the CIS.
