Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has appointed Deputy Ministers of Digital Technologies.

Oleg Pekos has been appointed as the First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies.

Jamol Makhsudov and Rustam Karimjonov became Deputy Ministers of Digital Technologies. Rustam Karimjonov previously served as Deputy Minister of Public Education.

Shukhrat Kadirov has been appointed as the director of the Space Research and Technology Agency under the Ministry of Digital Technologies.

Azam Abdullayev headed the Inspectorate for the control in the field of informatization and telecommunications.

Doniyor Rustamov and Jamshid Egamberdiev, who previously worked as Deputy Ministers for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications, have been relieved of their positions due to transfer to another job.
