Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Minister of Preschool Education Agrippina Shin met with the Head of the KOICA Representative Office in Uzbekistan Ms. Park Sunjin.
At the meeting, the opening of the Center for retraining and training of personnel and the construction of a state pre-school in Tashkent were discussed. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2022.
The project will be implemented at the expense of external gratuitous assistance (grant) of the Republic of Korea in the amount of US$11 million (preliminary) in the period 2021-2026.
The complex center will work with teachers and methodologists of preschool organizations. The Korean program provides not only classes with children, but also interaction with parents.
“We want to involve more parents in preschool education, during the pandemic, when children temporarily did not attend preschool, it became clear and understandable that parents should also take training and education skills for the further development of the child. This Center will be an innovative digital cluster and one of the best preschool education projects,” said Agrippina Shin.
In addition, the Center will develop innovative teaching methods, manuals and teaching materials for ECE centers.
