Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 5 November, an online meeting was organized between the Minister of Preschool Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Agrippina Shin and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China in Tashkent Ms. Jiang Yan.

The sides discussed topical issues of current and future cooperation. In particular, they discussed the issues of attracting investments for organizing the production of developmental toys, play equipment, as well as didactic materials on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, investors for expanding non-governmental kindergartens networks based on PPP. The possibility of studying the Chinese language, as one of the foreign ones, in state preschool educational institutions and the necessity of organizing advanced training courses for specialists of the preschool education system were also considered.

The Minister of Preschool Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Agrippina Shin and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the PRC in Tashkent, Ms. Jiang Yan, proposed launching a pilot project for a digital kindergarten.

Separately, further cooperation with the Chinese Song Chingling Foundation was discussed in the framework of improving the quality of education and conditions in specialized preschool institutions, as well as increasing the potential of workers in these organizations.

Also, within the framework of the partnership, it is planned to hold the 2nd Uzbek-Chinese forum "Innovative approaches to the early development of children" in China.

On behalf of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Uzbekistan, 300 toys and accessories were donated to children from needy families.
