Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan is preparing to continue hybrid education in schools in the new 2021-2022 academic year. This was reported by the Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan.
“The number of new cases of coronavirus continues in our country, as well as in the whole world. Unfortunately, compared to last year, the prevalence of this disease among school-age children has also increased,” the ministry said.
In this regard, the Ministry of Public Education reports that in the new 2021-2022 academic year, schools are preparing to continue the educational process in a hybrid form. Depending on the quarantine situation at the school, at the suggestion of the Centers for Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance, by the decision of local Kengashes, some schools may be closed and transferred to a remote form of education.
In such cases, students will temporarily continue their education from home. In order to create opportunities for distance learning, the broadcast of video lessons on the TV channels of the National TV and Radio Company under the Online School project will continue in the new academic year.
Given the situation in the country, the Ministry of Public Education asks all employees of the system to get vaccinated as soon as possible in order to fully restore traditional education. No modern distance education system can replace traditional education at school, the ministry said.
