Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Power supply to more than 2 million citizens and about 13 thousand wholesale consumers in 5,377 mahallas was improved. This was stated by Regional Electric Networks JSC.

In 2021, the regions completed the renovation and modernization of 15,000 km of low and medium voltage power lines and 4,000 transformer points.

The volume of electricity supplied last year amounted to 64,379.6 million kWh (an increase of 4.3% compared to 2020).

In order to effectively use the funds of JSC "Regional Electric Networks", special licenses were obtained for each regional enterprise, design teams and construction teams were formed. The activity of 13 workshops for the production of reinforced concrete supports and 14 workshops for the production of traverse products has also been established.

As a result of the implementation of the above works using the cluster method, 437 billion soums were saved in 2021 alone.
