Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Over the past five years, a lot of work has been done in the energy sector of Uzbekistan in the field of modernization and reconstruction.
In accordance with the new adopted Country Development Strategy for 2022-2026, further development of the industry is planned.
In particular, under the Obod Qishloq and Obod Mahalla programs, about 80,000 kilometers of main and distribution power lines, more than 20,000 transformer points and more than 200 substations will be built and repaired in the country.
As a result, power supply will improve in more than 8,300 mahallas across the country.
In 2017-2021, 902 km of main and 40.6 thousand km of distribution power lines and 12.9 thousand transformer facilities were reconstructed.
As a result, power supply has improved in more than 7,300 mahallas across the country.
