Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Energy production continues to decline in Uzbekistan, according to data from the Statistics Agency.
In January, gas production in Uzbekistan amounted to 3.99 billion cubic meters, which is 9.4% less than in January 2023.
In the reporting period, 60.5 thousand tons of oil were produced, which is 6.3% lower compared to January 2023.
Coal production fell by 13.8% in January 2024 compared to the same period in 2023 – to 357.8 thousand tons.
Enterprises of Uzbekistan increased gas condensate production by 2.1% – to 111.7 thousand tons.
In January 2024, 124.6 thousand tons of motor gasoline were produced in Uzbekistan, which is 10.8% less than the corresponding period in 2023.
