Exhibition “Bucharest - Little Paris” to be held in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 25 March 2023, the French Alliance of Tashkent will host the opening of the exhibition "Bucharest - Little Paris".

The exhibition will be open to visitors from 25 March 2023 to 31 March 2023.

The event was organized by the Embassy of Romania in the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Romanian national news agency Ajerpres with the support of the French Alliance in Tashkent.

This event is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Romania’s accession to the International Organization of the Francophonie and will be held as part of the celebration of Francophonie in Tashkent.

The exhibition, consisting of 22 photographs, presents the Uzbek public with an image of the Romanian capital between 1929 and 1939.

Romania pays great attention to the development of relations with Uzbekistan at all levels, including in the field of culture, as a link that can best bring our peoples together. On 18 December 2022, the Embassy of Romania received a letter of thanks from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan for its contribution to the development and strengthening of bilateral and multilateral relations with the Republic of Uzbekistan.
