Porsche Unveils First Fully Electric Macan GTS

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Porsche is expanding its all-electric Macan lineup with the new Macan GTS, emphasizing performance and driving dynamics.

The model delivers up to 420 kW of Overboost power, features an electronically controlled rear differential lock, and comes equipped with a sport-tuned air suspension with reduced ground clearance — setting new benchmarks for agility and handling.

As with all GTS models, the fifth-generation Macan Electric GTS stands out inside and out with its distinctive styling and numerous dark accents.

The GTS designation, a legendary part of Porsche’s heritage dating back to the 1963 904 Carrera GTS, makes its debut on a fully electric Macan. The SUV boasts outstanding performance, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, reaching 200 km/h in 13.3 seconds, with a top speed limited to 250 km/h.

The vehicle is powered by Porsche’s most advanced rear electric motor — 230 mm in diameter and 210 mm in active length — paired with a 900 A silicon carbide (SiC) pulse inverter. In standard mode, it produces 380 kW (516 hp), while Overboost mode raises output to 420 kW (571 hp) and 955 Nm of torque.

A dedicated 9.0:1 transmission ratio ensures optimal power delivery.

Driving range under the WLTP cycle reaches up to 586 km, and the 100 kWh battery charges from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes at a peak rate of 270 kW.

The standard Sport Chrono package includes the “Track” mode, known from the Taycan, optimizing battery cooling and minimizing power loss under prolonged load.

The PASM air suspension, electronically controlled rear differential lock, and 48:52 weight distribution ensure exceptional agility and cornering precision. A rear-axle steering system is available as an option.

Porsche Electric Sport Sound offers two exclusive profiles — “Sport” and “Sport Plus” — emphasizing the vehicle’s dynamic character.

The exterior design features black styling accents on the front, sides, and rear, Matrix LED headlights, new side skirts, and a black diffuser, creating a purposeful and athletic appearance.

Starting in 2026, the Macan GTS will be the first model to receive the new Sport Design package, with exclusive GTS styling elements. It comes standard with 21-inch Macan Design wheels, while 22-inch RS Spyder Design wheels are optional. New exterior colors include Crayon, Carmine Red, and for the first time, Lugano Blue. The Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur program offers nearly 60 additional shades.

Inside, the cabin reflects a racing spirit with Race-Tex and leather upholstery on the steering wheel, center console, doors, and 18-way adjustable sport seats.

The optional GTS interior package allows color coordination with the exterior, featuring contrast stitching, seatbelts, and “GTS” badging. A Carbon package adds carbon-fiber trim elements on the steering wheel, dashboard, and doors. The central display and digital instrument cluster adapt to match the body color and display the “GTS” logo. Sport Chrono features, including telemetry and sector analysis, are fully integrated into the digital cockpit.

The Macan GTS also introduces updated driver assistance and infotainment systems: Porsche Digital Key, advanced parking assistants, an AI-powered voice autopilot, in-car gaming options, and a towing capacity increased to 2,500 kg.
