Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Presidential Decree "On measures to improve the infrastructure for the provision of public services and expand the population’s access to public services" was adopted.
According to the Decree, from 1 November 2021:
- When providing public services to persons registered in the information system "Single Register of Social Protection", as well as to persons with disabilities of I and II groups through the Centers of Public Services and (or) the Unified Portal of Interactive Public Services (EPIGU), a discount of 50 percent is applied on state duties, fees and any other payments (except for cases of appeal for the purpose of entrepreneurial activity or as a representative of legal entities);
- If the provision of public services rendered through the Public Service Centers, the "License" information system and EPIGU is delayed for more than 3 working days, according to the applications of the applicants, 50 percent of payment for using the service of state duties, fees and any other payments are returned to them in within 1 business day. At the same time, the corresponding state service is provided to the applicant free of charge.
From 1 January 2022, the size of state duties, fees and other payments charged for the provision of certain state services (8 items) will be reduced.
From 1 December 2021:
- citizens of Uzbekistan permanently residing abroad, as well as foreign individuals and legal entities and stateless persons are provided with access to electronic state services by issuing certificates of electronic digital signature keys by diplomatic missions and consular offices of Uzbekistan;
- for foreign citizens and stateless persons who do not permanently reside in Uzbekistan, a personal identification number of an individual is assigned in a simplified manner in the district (city) migration and citizenship offices and public service centers;
- payments in national currency for the issuance of duplicate licenses, permits, certificates and other permits are set in the amount of up to 10% of the basic evaluated value (except for cases when payments are not established by law or are set at less than 10 percent of the base calculated value).
