Polygraph industry’s output hit 280.2bn soums in 1H
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Enterprises of polygraph industry of Uzbekistan manufactured products for 280.2 billion soums in January-June 2013, which rose by 24.5% year-on-year, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.
Production of book and magazine products rose by 42.8% year-on-year, newspaper products – 21.8%, and other polygraph products (calendars, booklets, lebels) – 5.4%.
At the same time, the production of paper products grew by 18.7% and notebooks – by 5.2% in the reporting period.
In January-June 2013, the exports of paper, cardboard and print products made up US$4.1 million or grew by 46.4% year-on-year.
