Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Polish Oil and Gas Company and the International Solidarity Fund of Poland provided free assistance to Uzbekistan in the amount of US$300,000.

According to the Dunyo news agency, assistance includes personal protective equipment, medical measuring devices and medicines designed to combat COVID-19.

Assistance in organizing and sending humanitarian cargo was provided by the Embassy of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland.

The embassy has agreed on the procedure for the import of humanitarian cargo to Uzbekistan, taking into account customs and other rules applicable to this type of cargo. Upon arrival, the cargo will be handed over to the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.
