Poland extradites man wanted for rape to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Through joint actions of Interpol officers of Uzbekistan and Poland, a criminal accused of rape was detained and extradited.

Accompanied by employees of the National Central Bureau Interpol in the Republic of Uzbekistan, a citizen of Uzbekistan M.N., who has been wanted by our law enforcement agencies since August 2021 for rape, was extradited from Warsaw to Tashkent. This was reported by the National Central Bureau of Interpol in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In January of this year, the criminal was put on the international wanted list through Interpol channels, and already in March, information was received from Polish colleagues about the entry of M.N. to the territory of Poland.

After that, the employees of the National Central Bureau of Interpol of Uzbekistan began working on the issue of identifying and detaining the person involved and, according to the sent procedural documents, operational search activities began, as a result of which M.N. was arrested.

Having satisfied the request for extradition, the offender was extradited to Uzbekistan in order to suffer a well-deserved punishment.
