Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During an operational event carried out in the city of Akhangaran by employees of the State Security Service for Tashkent region, together with the prosecutor’s office and the department for combating economic crimes of the region, when fraudulently receiving US$300,000 from a local entrepreneur 3 residents of the city of Tashkent, born in 1955, 1976 and 1979, were detained.

It turned out that they promised the entrepreneur to register through the possibilities of their acquaintances 16 hectares of land in the territory of the free economic zone "Angren", located in Akhangaran region, to the balance of the limited liability company of this entrepreneur. For this they demanded US$1.4 million and as an advance they requested US$300,000 of this amount.

Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against these persons under Article 168 and Article 28,211 of the Criminal Code.
