Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Due to the announced avalanche danger at the Kamchik mountain pass, from 00:00 on 4 January, the A-373 international highway was temporarily closed to traffic.

A headquarters for the evacuation of citizens stuck on the way was quickly created. Uzbekiston temir yullari organized a special train No. 902 with the route "Angren - Orzu - Pap" for passengers who found themselves on the approaches to the pass. Today at 04:42 about 400 citizens were evacuated from the railway stations and stations "Akhangaran", "Angren" and "Orzu" to the railway station "Pap".

Work is also underway to evacuate people in the opposite direction; a special train No. 901 has also been organized for them with the Pap-Angren message.
