People contributed to social protection of children honored in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Republican Center for social adaptation of children, a social partner of Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of Uzbekistan, hosted an event “Thank You” dedicated to honoring people, who contributed to development of sphere on social protection of children.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Labour, Safura Mirzaahemdova, who worked for 50 years in system of the social protection of population, was among the guests. She started her work as inspector of district branch of social protection body in Tashkent city and moved up to the position of the Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population.

She helped children with special needs and families, being responsible for pension and allowances for children with special needs and providing state preferences to them. She received several state medals and honors.

The event included a concert with participation of celebrities. The invitees also received gifts and diplomas.
