Penalty points for drivers to be issued exclusively by inspectors
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Penalty points for traffic violations will be assigned solely based on protocols issued by road patrol inspectors, according to Erali Bozorov, Deputy Head of the Traffic Safety Department of the Public Security Directorate at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, on 25 February.
This decision was made in response to public feedback and the current social situation. Violations will be recorded in the electronic database of the Main Traffic Safety Directorate (GUBDD) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, minimizing human error.
