Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A government resolution was adopted on measures to organize the activities of pedagogical institutes of Termez and Karshi state universities.

The decree resolution the main tasks of the pedagogical institutes of Termez and Karshi state universities.

The educational process at these institutes will begin in the 2021/2022 academic year.

Starting from the 2021/2022 academic year, admission to Termez and Karshi state universities in the areas of bachelor’s degree in pedagogical education and related specialties of magistracy on their basis will be suspended.

In order to form students’ interest in the teaching profession in 10 leading educational institutions of Surkhandarya and Kashkadarya regions, the following will be organized:

for pupils of 3-4 grades "Classes for reading and mathematical literacy";

for pupils of grades 8-9 "Classes in mathematical and natural science literacy";

for pupils of 10-11 grades "Pedagogical classes".
