Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A solemn meeting of the first Inter-Parliamentary Forum of the countries of Central Asia and the Russian Federation has ended in Ashgabat.

Heads of delegations of participating countries spoke at the meeting. The Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan summed up the results of the solemn meeting in his speech.

During the first Inter-Parliamentary Forum of the countries of Central Asia and the Russian Federation, an award ceremony was also held.

In the afternoon, the work of the Forum continued in the framework of plenary sessions.

The parliamentarians discussed topical issues of the activities and cooperation of the legislative body, medical diplomacy and regional cooperation for sustainable development and environmental well-being.
