Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The fourth industrial revolution dictates the need to find new ways of Uzbek-Korean cooperation. Director of the New Northern Policy Department of the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy Pak Chung-ho said this at the expert forum "Uzbekistan-Korea: a look into the future", held on 23 August in Tashkent.

According to the Korean expert, today there is an urgent need to intensify industrial, technological and interpersonal exchanges between Korea and Uzbekistan. 

With this in mind, Park Chung-ho believes, it is important to consider the creation of an Uzbek-Korean production export base. Such a mechanism for economic cooperation, in his opinion, will be focused on exports to the countries of Central Asia, the Middle East and Eastern Europe.

On 23 August, Tashkent hosted an expert forum "Uzbekistan - Korea: a look into the future", organized by the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the assistance of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in partnership with the Secretariat of the Cooperation Forum "Republic of Korea - Central Asia".

More than 25 leading experts and heads of analytical centers, representatives of research and educational institutions of the two countries took part in its work.
