Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A fire broke out in the Zarafshan National Natural Park in Jambay district of Samarkand region. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Samarkand region.

According to the report, 5 fire crews arrived at the scene at 21:51. Tugai forests burned on an area of 1.5 hectares.

As a result of operational actions, the fire was localized at 02:51 and extinguished at 04:03. Nobody was hurt as a result of the fire.

The cause and amount of material damage from the fire are being established.
