Paper and Paper Products Production in Uzbekistan Rises by 5.9%

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the first ten months of 2025, Uzbekistan’s enterprises produced paper and paper products worth a total of 8 trillion soums, marking a 5.9% increase compared to the same period in 2024, according to the National Statistics Committee.

Tashkent city remains the leader in production volume, with 3.6 trillion soums, followed by Tashkent region at 2.2 trillion soums.

Among other regions, high output was recorded in Samarkand region (517.6 billion soums), Fergana region (478.4 billion soums), and Andijan region (410.4 billion soums).

Smaller production volumes were reported in Karakalpakstan (6.7 billion soums), Surkhandarya region (3.6 billion soums), and Kashkadarya region (37.4 billion soums).
