Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Pakistani delegation headed by Adviser to the Prime Minister Abdul Razak Davud arrived in Uzbekistan for negotiations today, Dunyo news agency reported.
It is planned that within the framework of the visit the first meeting of the Special Uzbek-Pakistani joint working group on trade and economic issues will be held.
The Pakistani delegation will also take part in a meeting of the trilateral Uzbek-Afghani-Pakistani working group on the implementation of the Mazar-i-Sharif-Kabul-Peshawar railway project.
Abdul Razak Davud and his entourage will visit Samarkand, where they will make a pilgrimage to Islamic shrines, get acquainted with the historical and architectural sights of the ancient city.
