Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 31 May 2019, competitions for 70,949 vacancies were announced in more than 70 ministries and departments of the republic, as well as regional ( city) khokimiyats, 830,173 candidates applied for these vacancies. This was announced by officials from the Civil Service Development Agency.

The largest number of competitions in the context of ministries and departments were held in the Agency for Youth Affairs - 15,794, in the State Committee for Family and Women Affairs - 10,116, in the State Tax Committee - 7,548, in the Ministry of Public Education - 4,712, in the Ministry of Finance - 6,592.

According to the results of competitions for the state civil service, 31,788 qualified candidates were accepted.
