Over the first eight months of 2025, more than 5 million Uzbek tourists traveled abroad

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to August 2025, approximately 5.2 million citizens of Uzbekistan traveled abroad for tourism purposes, an increase of nearly 1.1 million people, or 26.8%, compared to the same period last year, according to the National Statistics Committee.

The most visited foreign destinations were neighboring countries, with Kyrgyzstan leading at 2.3 million tourists, followed by Kazakhstan with 956,000 visitors and Tajikistan with 887,900.

Other popular destinations included Russia (312,700), Türkiye (181,700), Saudi Arabia (165,700), the UAE (94,200), Egypt (45,400), Vietnam (28,500), and China (27,600).

The remaining countries were visited by 162,400 Uzbek tourists.
