Over 86,000 Electric Vehicles Registered in Uzbekistan, Most of Them in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As of 1 October 2025, Uzbekistan had 86.1 thousand registered electric vehicles, according to the National Statistics Committee.

The largest number — 64.8 thousand electric vehicles — is concentrated in the city of Tashkent, reflecting the availability of infrastructure and the strong demand for environmentally friendly transport in the capital.

The distribution of electric vehicles across the regions is significantly lower:
