Over 60% of Households in Uzbekistan Consist of Five or More Members, Statistics Show

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — More than 60% of households in Uzbekistan comprise five or more members, according to data from sample household surveys conducted by the National Statistics Committee for January–December 2025.

The published data indicate that in 2025, the share of such households was 61.4%.

This proportion has remained consistently high over the past decade, despite some fluctuations. In 2015, households with five or more members accounted for 63.3% of the total, in 2020 — 61.7%, and in 2024 — 59.9%.
