Over 5,350 Uzbek citizens to perform Umrah pilgrimage

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Over 5,350 Muslims from Uzbekistan will make Umrah pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia during spring period, the Committee on Religious Affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan said.

The committee said that the pilgrims will travel to Saudi Arabia from 20 February to 1 April 2017.

The group of doctors, cooks and members of the working group will provide various services to pilgrims, the committee added.

The Uzbek committee said that the pilgrims will stay in hotels, located near holy sights. They will be provided with food and drinks during the pilgrimage.
