Over 483,216 people to enroll to colleges, lyceums

The Government of Uzbekistan issued a resolution “On admission to secondary special, professional educational establishments of Uzbekistan in 2015/2016 academic year” on 3 June 2015.

The document approved general parameters of admission of graduates of ninth class of general schools to professional and academic lyceums in 2015/2016 academic year.

According to the resolution, some 483,216 people will graduate ninth classes of the general schools this year and all of them will enroll to secondary special and professional education establishments.

At the same time, about 450,611 graduates will be accepted to professional colleges and 32,515 to academic lyceums.

The resolution underlined that currently there are 144 academic lyceums and 1,413 professional colleges in Uzbekistan. At the same time, the colleges have 30 branches.
