Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – In line with the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan, the State Program for the Creation of New Jobs and Promotion of Employment of the Population for 2021 was approved.

The program implies the implementation of the following:

creation of permanent 457,127 new jobs;

promotion of employment for 513,575 citizens and incentives for employers;

Also, the employment of 281 thousand 289 unemployed for vacant and reserve jobs has been determined.

According to the resolution, to promote employment in 2021, subsidies, allowances and microcredits will be allocated in the following amounts:

allocation of subsidies - 92.3 billion soums;

payment of unemployment benefits - 65.1 billion soums; 

covering the costs of vocational training, retraining and advanced training - 40.6 billion soums; 

resources allocated to commercial banks for the implementation of small projects providing for the creation of new jobs - 125 billion soums. 

According to the resolution, the bureaus for providing temporary one-time work, operating under the regional (city) centers for promoting employment of the population of the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations, were transformed into Centers for one-time work.

The center registers and maintains a database of job seekers, accepts applications from employers for hiring citizens for temporary work.

The Center provides employment services to persons performing temporary work, regardless of their place of permanent residence (on an extraterritorial basis) with their registration as job seekers.
