Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Within the framework of the "Program for the treatment and rehabilitation of children with hearing impairment over 5 years old" of the Zamin foundation, more than 40 operations will be carried out: 36 operations on cochlear implantation and 5 on bone conduction.

To do this, the foundation have invited international doctors who will perform operations at the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Center for Pediatrics. They will also share their experience in workshops and lectures for local specialists.

And in specialized schools across the republic, doctors of the Center are already conducting medical diagnostics to determine the readiness of children for operations.

Cochlear implantation and bone conduction implantation gives the child the ability to freely perceive speech. This allows for the formation and development of speech in accordance with age.

Normalization of speech development helps the child quickly and without stress to integrate into the environment of hearing peers.
