Over 34,000 Uzbeks Traveled to Türkiye in Early 2026

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Since the beginning of 2026, more than 34,000 Uzbek citizens have traveled to Türkiye. According to the National Statistics Committee, 34,634 trips were made in January–February 2026.

Compared to the same period last year, this figure increased by 1,600 travelers, indicating continued growth in interest in this destination.

The majority of trips were for tourism, accounting for 28,416 visitors. A significant number of Uzbeks traveled to visit family — 5,364 people.

In addition, 311 citizens went to Türkiye for business purposes, 300 for education, and 243 for medical treatment.
