Over 296,000 Cars Sold in Uzbekistan in Nine Months — UzAuto Motors’ Market Share Exceeds 80%
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to September 2025, a total of 296,331 vehicles were sold in Uzbekistan, according to UzAvtoSanoat.
UzAuto Motors remains the market leader, selling 141,304 cars, accounting for 47.7% of total sales. Its subsidiary, Khorezm Auto, ranked second with 103,837 vehicles sold (35%). Combined, UzAuto Motors’ share of the domestic market reached 82.7%.
ADM Jizzakh holds the third position, selling 32,987 cars, or 11.1% of the total market.
Among other market participants, BYD Uzbekistan Factory stands out with 16,846 units sold (5.7%), followed by Asaka Motors — 937 vehicles (0.3%), SamAuto — 341 (0.13%), and Alyans Auto — 79 units (0.03%).
By brand, Chevrolet remains the undisputed leader with 245,141 vehicles sold, followed by KIA with 18,863 cars. Other notable brands include BYD (16,846), Chery (8,090), Haval (6,034), Hyundai (758), Isuzu D-Max (341), and Wuling (105).
In terms of models, the most popular among buyers were Chevrolet Cobalt (95,362 units), Chevrolet Damas (78,712), and Chevrolet Tracker (27,921).
The top ten most sought-after models also included Chevrolet Labo (25,129), Chevrolet Onix (16,287), KIA Sonet (13,633), BYD Song Plus Champion DMI (4,933), BYD Yuan Up (4,271), BYD Chazor (3,520), and Haval M6 (3,204).
