Over 25,000 Uzbek Citizens Return from Gulf States

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As of the morning of 10 March 2026, a total of 25,047 Uzbek citizens have returned to Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.

The largest group of returnees, 21,017 people, came from Saudi Arabia. In addition, 3,555 citizens arrived from the United Arab Emirates, 394 from Qatar, 47 from Iran, 27 from Bahrain, and 7 from Oman.

The ministry emphasized that the repatriation process is organized systematically and carried out in stages.

Currently, the evacuation is being conducted mainly from countries whose airspace remains open to civil aviation, ensuring a safe and orderly return of Uzbek citizens to their homeland.
