Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Over 23,000 people in Tashkent have been vaccinated against coronavirus with the Sputnik V drug. This was announced by Botir Kurbonov, deputy head of the Sanitary-Epidemiological Surveillance and Health Service.
He added that tomorrow and the day after tomorrow the Sputnik V vaccines will be sent to the regions of Uzbekistan.
According to him, the Sputnik V vaccine is primarily given to people over 65 and medical workers.
Vaccinations of people who are not included in this group will be vaccinated against coronavirus with Sputnik V in the next stages, Botir Kurbonov said.
