Over 172,000 Vehicles Sold in Uzbekistan in First Half of 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A total of 172,258 vehicles were sold in Uzbekistan during the first half of 2025, according to data released by Uzavtosanoat.
UzAuto Motors maintained its leading position in the market, selling 94,048 vehicles, which accounts for 54.6% of total sales.
Khorezm Auto, a structural subdivision of UzAuto Motors, ranked second with 47,921 units sold, representing 27.8% of the market.
ADM Jizzakh came in third, delivering 19,672 vehicles, or 11.4% of the total.
Among other market players, BYD Uzbekistan Factory showed notable results with 9,708 units sold (5.6%). It was followed by Asaka Motors with 623 vehicles (0.4%), SamAuto with 238 units (0.1%), and Alyans Auto with 48 cars (0.03%).
In terms of brands, Chevrolet remains the undisputed leader with 141,969 units sold. KIA followed with 11,361 cars, then BYD with 9,708, Chery with 4,614, Haval with 3,697, Hyundai with 444, Isuzu D-Max with 238, and Wuling with 105 vehicles.
Among specific models, the Chevrolet Cobalt continued to be the most popular choice, with 67,580 units sold from January through June. The Chevrolet Damas ranked second with 31,641 sales, followed by the Chevrolet Tracker with 16,641 units sold.
The top ten most in-demand models also included the Chevrolet Labo (16,276), Chevrolet Onix (8,704), KIA Sonet (7,873), BYD Song Plus Champion DMI (2,539), BYD Chazor (2,082), Haval M6 (2,001), and BYD Yuan Up (1,937).
