Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Large enterprises in Uzbekistan produced 16 million tons of cement from January to December 2024, according to the data from the Statistics Agency. This production volume increased by 34.2% compared to the same period in 2023.

In 2022, Uzbekistan prodced 11.36 million tons tons of cement. In 2023, the figure reached 11.93 million tons.

The growth in cement production reflects a positive trend in the construction industry and an increase in demand for construction materials in the country.
