Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 1 January 2022, the number of enterprises and organizations with foreign capital registered in Uzbekistan is 13,700, of which 13,300 carry out their activities, the State Statistics Committee said. 

The number of operating enterprises with foreign capital increased by 1,508 compared to the corresponding period last year.

When considering the number of enterprises with foreign capital by state:

Russia – 2,309

China - 1,927

Turkey - 1,882

Kazakhstan - 1,067

Korea - 896

The number of newly created enterprises with the participation of foreign capital by country in January - December 2021:

Turkey - 407

Russia - 356

China - 266

Kazakhstan - 209

Korea - 97
