Over 135,000 Vehicles Sold in Uzbekistan in the First Five Months of 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Between January and May 2025, a total of 135,922 vehicles were sold in Uzbekistan, according to Uzavtosanoat.
The largest share of sales was generated by UzAuto Motors, which accounted for 76,095 vehicles, or 55.9% of the total.
Khorezm Auto, a structural unit of UzAuto Motors, ranked second in sales volume with 35,735 vehicles, representing 26.3% of the market.
ADM Jizzakh came in third, having sold 15,520 vehicles (11.4%), followed by BYD Uzbekistan Factory with 7,859 (5.8%), Asaka Motors with 491 (0.4%), SamAuto with 186 (0.1%), and Jizzakh Auto with 36 vehicles (0.03%).
Among the brands, Chevrolet maintained its leading position with an impressive 111,830 vehicles sold. It was followed by KIA (9,224), BYD (7,859), Chery (3,474), Haval (2,822), Hyundai (345), Isuzu D-Max (186), and Wuling (91).
The most popular model remains the Chevrolet Cobalt, with 54,545 units sold since the beginning of the year.
It is followed by the Chevrolet Damas (22,409), and the Chevrolet Tracker comes in third with 13,438 units sold.
The top ten most in-demand models also include: Chevrolet Labo (13,326), Chevrolet Onix (7,095), KIA Sonet (6,456), BYD Song Plus Champion DMI (2,480), BYD Chazor (1,681), Haval M6 (1,484), and BYD Yuan Up (1,449).
These figures reflect a steady increase in consumer demand for automobiles in the country, as well as growing competition between local and international manufacturers on Uzbekistan’s automotive market.
