Over 128 Thousand Product Names Registered in the National Catalog of Labeled Goods In Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As of early 2026, the National Catalog of Labeled Products of the Republic of Uzbekistan recorded 128.7 thousand product names.

A total of 4,592 business entities are involved in the processes of digital traceability, including 1,097 domestic manufacturers and 3,495 importing companies.

The regional distribution of participants shows the highest concentration in the capital and major industrial centers. In Tashkent city, 653 manufacturers and 2,473 importers are registered. In Tashkent region, there are 161 manufacturers and 296 importers; in Samarkand region, 78 manufacturers and 156 importers; and in Ferghana region, 52 manufacturers and 195 importers. In other regions, the number of participants ranges from six entities in Syrdarya region to 37 in Namangan region.

The labeling system covers key product categories. In the household appliances segment, 307 manufacturers and 1,943 importers are registered, making this category the largest in terms of volume. In the pharmaceuticals and medical devices sector, 368 manufacturers and 922 importers participate, while bottled water and soft drinks are labeled by 315 manufacturers and 434 importers.

The alcohol sector includes 57 manufacturers and 53 importers, while beer accounts for 47 manufacturers and 43 importers. The tobacco segment is characterized by a small scale of local production, with only three domestic factories, whereas the number of importers reaches 100.
