Over 116 Billion Soums in Compensation Paid to Yangi Bank Depositors via Business Development Bank
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As of 5:30 p.m., more than 116 billion soums in compensation has been paid to depositors of JSC Yangi Bank through the agent bank, JSCB Business Development Bank, the Deposit Insurance Agency said in a statement.
The Agency has fully transferred all necessary funds to the agent bank to ensure timely and complete compensation for every depositor. The agent bank has sufficient liquidity, allowing depositors to access their funds at any convenient time.
Due to the sharp increase in the number of users, temporary technical issues may occur when loading the BRB mobile application. All necessary measures are being taken to ensure the app operates stably around the clock.
Depositors experiencing difficulties with the mobile app are advised to call 78-150-76-76.
The process of providing compensation to depositors remains under continuous daily supervision.
It is recalled that by a decision of the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 15 January 2026, the banking license of JSC Yangi Bank was revoked.
