Over 11,530 veterans receive vouchers to sanatoriums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
As of 1 December 2015, 11,534 war and labour front veterans received vouchers to sanatoriums, according to the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of Uzbekistan said.
About 26,126 elder people and people with disabilities received vouchers to sanatoriums of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population for rehabilitation.
In line with the presidential decree from 13 October 2014 on strengthening social support of war and labour front veterans, war and labour front veterans undergo rehabilitation at sanatoriums once a year in convenient time for them.
The ministry said that the veterans also received assistance in medical institutions and rested in resorts.
