Over 112,227 people applied to Uzbek universities

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Over 112,227 people submitted applications to the higher educational institutions, according to the State Center for testing under the Cabinet of Ministers.

According to the center, the competition makes up 1.94 persons per place. It is worth to mention that Uzbek universities will accept 57,900 people.

Jizzakh State University (6,030 applications and competition – 3.73 persons per place), Karshi State Pedagogic Institute (5,417 and 4.23) and Andijan State University (5,075 and 3.63) were the most popular educational institutions among entrants this year.

The Uzbek universities will accept documents from entrants till 20 July 2015. The university entry exams will take place in Uzbekistan on 1 August.
